"Warning, Long Battle-Story"
Ah Privateers, *nostalgic face*
those were the days
Oh well, here I go (Been a short while, I might be wrong about a few minor details)
Flying around GW, having joined CoW, in my rupture (clean T1-fit, not even named) (dual180 / twin med nos / standard meds, 1 gyro, plates and small rep w 6 hobgoblin Is) I find myself in a system with multiple ppl from the Legion of xXDeathXx, apparantly running a plex. After sending a claw to the scrapyard, one of their members warps in in a rupture of his own.
After a bit of warping back and forth we find ourselves 30km from each other. I align away from him and he MWDs to me (when fitting crap, getting those small advantages, like an opponent burning cap, has always been good).
We open up on each other (Quite rapidly arriving at AC optimal range, by all means we could be throwing shoes at each other at this range. (Heck, judging from the AC damage these days, I wouldn't be too surprised if thats what we were using for ammo, despite the label saying EMP)).
He released his warrior I's and I my hobgoblins, and we set our drones at each others drones.
We both went through shield quite fast, yet he's clearly tanking me easily as his armor is constantly being repped to max, while my tank is slowly declining.
I decide to get some range, I noticed I wasn't webbed for some reason, we we're at this point shooting each other mercilessly, I was at around 60% armor, and we both had 4 drones left which we were still directing to each others drones, and while med-gunz dont hit small drones too well, understanding transversal is a lovely thing.
I punched the MWD and headed away from him, recalling my own drones to my dronebay, as I did this we both went to 3 drones left at the same time.
His drones followed, flying towards my ship, and I blew em away with my gunz as I saw fit, 2 as they flew towards me, 1 as he recalled himself.
Being 15km away, and sitting at around half armor slowly repping with a small rep, I sent my 3 remaining lights after him, once again starting my gunz, despite them not doing too much at 15km.
I approach again to re-enter nos-range, as I notice him shooting the last of my own drones down (he must've popped a few as they were flying towards him as well).
As I entered nos-range, he did a single MWD-cycle, and once again we found ourselves at shoe-throwing-range. my armor declined again, his did as well, and it appeared he wasn't repairing anymore.
I had plenty of cap, yet only a small rep to use it.
As my armor goes below 20%, his goes under 50%. Knowing my damage-control would help a bit I stick to it at shoe-throwing-range and hope he doesn't have a dc fitted himself.
As he arrives at low armor and I see his first scratches of damage leak to his structure, my own armor is completely gone, and I'm taking clean structure damage.
I knew this was it, this was when it would be decided, even the smallest factor could determine this outcome.
And then I had to ****ing reload!!
I approached the 50% structure mark, my small rep running, I start my gunz as soon as they were reloaded, he goes through his remaining armor quite fast, and I start digging into his structure. As he approaches 75% structure, I hit the 30% structure mark, and I stop taking damage 
No idea wtf happened at first, but I smiled, and as he started shooting again 10 seconds later I realized he had to reload himself, and as he did, we we're both at around 30% structure.

He died, I smiled, sitting with I beleive 13% structure at the end, and I somehow felt like yelling "Yes, woohoo" out loud.
As assumed he had to reload in structure, his setup was 3 x 220mm / standard meds / 1600 / 3 active hardners / med rep, so the dc saved my ass, as well as the nos apparantly stopping his hardners after my own reload
Local was pleasant with gf's and cheers for the fight.
(Unlike above, I'm greedy, if I win I want the isk)
